Cloud8690Posted 7/12/2012 9:09:09 PM | I just started playing on DN a couples days ago, only played about 12 matches so far. All but one of them have been great in terms of people knowing what they are doing and/or people being forgiving if someone makes a mistake.
First match of tonight however was beyond bad. I had to explain to this guy for about 15-20 minutes that my special summoning of Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from the grave was legit due to Red-Eyes Wyvern. He was insistent on the fact that since Wyvern was in the graveyard, his effect couldn't be used. I pointed him specifically to the description on the card where it says it's activated in the graveyard and he still refused to believe me.
Finally he gives up and uses his own wyverns effect and summons red eyes. I tell him it has to be during end phase, so he switches to end phase and then tries to summon blue eyes from the graveyard with Darkness Metal Dragons ability, as I tried to explain he can't do that during end phase (still iffy on that, tried to call an admin but they take forever). So he decided to act like a child and start randomly placing random powerful cards on the board. I just waited it out until he left and I got the win.
Anyone else have any infuriating stories from DN?

IfenoPosted 7/12/2012 9:17:38 PM | Anytime I play raven I always ask "eff?". 90% of the time I either get a "ok" or a
"no, *response*" sometimes the other guy doesn't respond at all so I wait 30ish seconds and then just assume he has no response. What I hate is when people don't respond, wait for me to get my combo off, swarm the field and enter battle phase. Then when I attack one of their monster they go "uhhhhh no" and drop a veiler or book raven or something.
