I read somewhere, can't remember where, that after completing dead money you can talk to Veronica about something to do with it. And that she would get a new perk out of the deal. So I finished the dlc talked to Veronica but there were no new dialog choices.
I may have read the information on this board, which is very likely, and leads me to believe it was false, or some other site. I was just wondering if anybody knows whether this is true or not. I didn't have my hopes set high to begin with, but I wouldn't mind atleast a little new dialog with her. Considering that the PC's actions in dead money have a direct impact on one possibly two people Veronica knew and cared for.
It's true, you have to exhaust all the dialogue options with her about father elijah and then a new option will open up with her, you may have to exit and reenter the conversation though. Once you have the option to talk about it, it becomse based on your choices during the conversation whether your character or her get a new perk.
Just FYI, the perk for Veronica gives her +%150 attack speed and a %25 chance to knock down enemies, both while using melee weapons. The perk for yourself increases the damage of melee weapon criticals by %150.
The perks are worded a bit oddly but I believe these are correct. --- Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 Collectibles Guide: http://www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/960495-lego-harry-potter-years-1-4/faqs/60378
Yeah, melee. They both make reference to Elijah's "secret Melee Weapon technique". --- Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 Collectibles Guide: http://www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/960495-lego-harry-potter-years-1-4/faqs/60378
Thanks for the info. Now I just have to restart my playthrough of dead money. I brought companions with me to the Abandoned BoS Bunker and I wasn't able to bring pick them up as companions after finishing the dlc. Arcade kept saying I had too many companions already even though I could take any other companion, like Cass or Boome, around with me.
