Having problems playing "Conker's Bad Fur Day" on my Samsung GALAXY SIII. Help?

Okay, random question... When emulating with an Android phone or tablet, do you have to wait until someone sneaks the app onto the store, or can you just download it and put it on via USB or SD?

just google the apk of mupen or buy it from slideme market. Enable "unknown sources apps" from the android settings in applications.

I've been replaying Mario 64 on my SIII just because I'm scared any other game will crash after i'm halfway through it, but I'll give Conker a whirl. I do remember reading on SlideMe that there's an issue with the emulator itself that makes a certain boss completely disappear.

Workarounds seem to be to copy the save state to your PC and pass the bad parts on PJ64.

Please tell me what kind of outcome you have. My only chance is that Muppen gets updated to the point where it's just as playable as N64oid. Yongh (If that's his name) has apparently stopped working on N64oid. It's not really a big deal, it's just... i want to play Conker on the go, at a decent FPS.

Hehe the s3 can barely run n64 games

I bet you're playing Zelda right now. Well, at 5-15fps with screen flickering, missing textures, awful controls, and no sound.

What did happen to mupen64? I heard it got taken down on the store? where can i get it now?

Just do what drivenby said. Muppen is still on the store by the way, it just has many generic N64 Emulator type names. :P

Anything to make it less laggy?

I tried Conker and I couldn't take it anymore after the scarecrow. It's slow and has graphical errors. Is it possible an older version of the emu would have different compatibility on certain games with the Galaxy S3?

Actually I went ahead and tried a few games on my T999, using N64oid 2.7:

-Blast Corps: Hangs at start.
-Bomberman 64: Hangs at start.
-Conker's Bad Fur Day: Game stuttering, minor graphical errors.
-Donkey Kong 64: Crashes and loops on the intro.
-Jet Force Gemini: Constant screen flickering hinders gameplay.
-OoT Master Quest: Perfect so far, except you can't save in-game (must use save-states)
-Resident Evil 2: In-game graphics are garbled, can only navigate the equipment/pause menu.

Actually, the first two might just be bad ROMs on my part. The rest of the ones I tried all work great, look silky smooth and ran full speed, especially the racing games.

It's probably not optimized for the processor on the sg3
