So, when playing multiplayer I have ended up with one enemy left at the end of a wave only to find that it has Glitched out and frozen in place or gotten stuck in a piece of the level and is therefore unkillable, forcing us to quit the match.
This has happened more than once.
Is there any way to stop this from happening or get around it?

Usually if guns fail, powers will work.

My team will stand there and pound this enemy with everything, weapons, powers, melee.
But nothing works, he's invincible.

Depending on the map if you find a frozen invulnerable enemy look up to where they would have spawned from, there are sometimes other enemies that can be killed but haven't jumped down yet, killing those usually unfreezes the other guy (this is especially true for the reactor level, there are often enemies hiding on the beams above the level).

reave with the range upgrade worked for me. other skills with a good range might work as well but i think most need to actually hit a target to take effect. reave doesnt

the sure solution is for the host to leave. which restarts the wave. then invite him/her back.

A weapon with an armor piercing mod will do the trick as well.

This has happened to be before.
