Do I have to re-play ME2 before starting ME3 over? - *spoilers*

Well, long story short,
This past June my PS3 died and Sony sent me brand new fat PS3, then the new PS3 re-formatted my HDD and all my game data got erased.

Does the EA servers remember your progress or do I need to play thru ME2 again for the 3rd time?

I know EA servers remember my ME2 progress because the servers gave me all the post game rewards after I restarted ME2. But I wonder if the EA servers would carry over my post game data to ME3.

Either way I like ME2 so no complaints on playing it again (I might make Jack my love since she's human and Miranda is infertil)

Unless you saved it using cloud storage, you're going to have to start all over again.

thanks boss :)

I don't subscribe to Plus so I can't use cloud.

Either way I will try to finish ME2 as quickly as possible while doing things right.
