for the Blood Harvest quest, I have reloaded a bajillion times and cannot seem to get Dark Elf blood at Ilinatas keep (or whatever the place is called) that everyone mentions.

Can anyone give me a good location to find one that I can harvest blood from, preferably one thats either already dead or hostile? I mean if theyre lower NPCs that wont be missed, I GUESS thats okay, but I would rather get the blood from a hostile or dead dark elf...

I got all my elf blood for the quest minus wood elf from the thalmar embassy. That's a good place to start from my experience.

There's a Dark Elf civilian in Windhelm. The one that's harassed by two nords when you first enter the city. She's usually walking around near the entrance.
Signed.

I found wood elves, dark elves, and orcs at Knifepoint Ridge camp. Its DIRECTLY west of the Guardian stones on the map, JUST before the map hits the snow and first mountain to the west of it. If that helps anyone. Thank you all for your help as well! :)

Liar's Retreat is an excellent place to get all the ones you need, except High Elf. Break in the Thalmor Embassy, and go to the Barracks to the left of the gate entrance.

most people want to kill bandits not town folk,if anyone needs a dark elf try evergreen grove its northwest of Falkreath, look for the dead necromancer in the lake,in my game it was a dark elf.
