I want craftable weapons and armor.

I hope they put in the ability to craft your own weapons and armor in this game. There could be an Armorer's Guild you could join and doing quests for them could unlock new and better types of weapons you could craft. Also you would have to find the materials, some being rarer than others. I think it would add alot more depth to the game. Anyone agree.

Agreed! I hated finding all those Daimond, Gold, Ruby MInes and having nothing to do but sell what they had to offer.

That's why I was stoked when there was acraftsmen in Morrowind, but it still wasn't enough for me. Leatherworking, armor crafting would be great. Not to mention, it would add a more sense of "Role Playing"

Finding random items in loot to make much stronger weapons than usual:
For example I have an Iron Longsword. I get the goods for another Iron Longsword, and forge it.
Old sword's attack: 12
New ones: 20

Or, the higher your ARMORER skill, the better armor and weapons you make come out?

Elder Scrolls is all about skills anyway, makes sense :D

Your idea for craftable weapons and armor is exactly what I was thinking. Different weapon parts and colors.

Yea... It would also be kind of fun to add effects to gems, and change them out on your equipped weapon, so you can change effects on the fly.

Ruby: Fire Damage X Points

Sapphire: Disintegrate Armor X Points

Diamond: Lightning/Shock Damage X Points

Emerald: Damage Speed X Points

(Yea, I know, it sounds like freaking Materia, but still... It could be interesting and useful for when you can't get to the Enchanting Altar, unless they have Enchanting more like Morrowind again...)

Nahh, dosn't sound like materia. If you woulda said, insert ruby X summon a dragon king, then I would have thought materia.
