Thought Morrowind was too complicated?

Then you don't DESERVE to play elderscrolls. If you can't comprehend the sheer magnitude and depth of morrowind and stop at something nitpicky like the combat system then you do NOT DESERVE to play elderscrolls. People with the mindset that RPGs should have no depths are the same people that made fable 3 what it is to fable 1. A hollow-lifeless-shell.

What if I loved Morrowind and all the pain that made it great? What do I deserve then?

I love Elder Scrolls series but I doubt Skyrim will be as inconvenient as Morrowind.

I'm hoping for a regular/hardcore mode that removes elements that everyone takes for granted.

honestly......I didn't think it was too complicated I just thought Morrowind sucked. Oblivion gave me a stiffy. Does that make me a bad person? Many purists have told me so. Alas, i don't see it as a flaw in my character.

It doesn't make you a bad person, just someone with subpar taste in games. No big deal, really.

its really hard for me to grasp how someone could like oblivion more. the combat was immediately funner but devolved into block attack attack block attack attack ad nausea... the setting was more generic and boring, there was less to do, and i could give a rats ass about what happened in the world. theres alot of games that ill chalk up personal taste (ie i hate tower defense but i can see the appeal), but liking oblivion over morrowind is like liking ipod 4 over iphone 4.
