As long as it's entirely optional what do I care if others want to obscure their vision and not optional as in "If you don't like it don't wear a helmet" but the ability to turn it off. It's not like it's something that would require actual changes to game play to allow it like some of the other stuff some people want and claim as "optional".

Only if its optional and it isnt default. Bioshock 2 is the only game in existance to give me a headache. Until i turned off the helmet thing --- So... if you get in a car crash in an online racing game, do you become e-wrecked?
