Smaller NPCs AKA "children"

If anyone makes another smaller npc killing topic, don't say children. Say they're true name, smaller npc's. Or pixelated image. Or any relating name. As they're are no children in video games. Thus no controversy.

They should do what Borderlands did and call them midgets.

If it looks like a child, talks like a child, thinks like a child, and acts like a child, then it's a child -- even if it isn't real, and that is undeniably the way they will be received if included in the game.

It's the visual representation of a child in an interactive media.

I don't understand why there's a controversy over killing an NPC that represents a child over an NPC t hat represents an adult. Murder is murder, and just as despicable regardless. Why this taboo.

However, do I think killable kids would improve the game? Nah, I don't think its an important feature, unless its absolutely intrinsic to the story.
