It's hard to describe but you kind of have to persevere for the first hour or so before you fall in love with the game. Or another note maybe you should try the Mass Effect series to slake off your Skyrim thirst.

berserkkenshinPosted 2/27/2011 9:39:02 AM | I would recommend getting it for the PC. If you have bought a computer within the last 3 years, you can definitely run it with everything turned up. There are many mods out there to enhance the experience and even though I've played nearly all of the elder scrolls series, I keep coming back to Morrowind just because I love it that much. Unless Skyrim is just amazing beyond words, this is the game you will come back to replay over and over again.

I bought morrowind for the xbox after playing and loving oblivion and fallout, but i couldnt get into it, especially because of the bad graphics and horrible animations. i asked if it would be worth buying on pc and having mods at my disposal and i wound up checking it out. after modding a bunch of the visuals and adding accurate attack i can say with confidence the game is incredible and definitely worth buying, but on pc. its horrible for the xbox

jroriginalPosted 2/27/2011 9:48:02 AM | Well, TC said he's getting it on Steam so he is getting the PC version. I don't know if this is true or a vicious rumour but I read somewhere that you cannot mod the Steam versions (I don't think you can mod the Steam Oblivion).

bobfather7Posted 2/27/2011 12:14:06 PM | ^both are moddable on steam, but with Morrowind you have to find a program that will change the dates of the .bsa files. It also has a more complex file path which is a small annoyance.
