Muti-race dragon born?

i know there has probably been a topic like this but here it goes

so the dragon borns are usually imperials right? and i guess since this game takes place in skyrim a nord would be cool for a player race but how is beth going to roll with a wood elf/dark elf or argonian dragon born? did they explane this yet? did one of the old emperors have some inter-race fetishes?

The Septim Bloodline was the Dragonborn line.

This was broken in Oblivion after the end of the Main Quest.
Fate, The Powers That Be, The One Above All Else or what ever you want to call it has blessed the world with a new Dragonborn thus a new Dragonborn bloodline allowing you PC to be any race.

oh gotcha, thought they were goin to pull the "secret remaining family" card again. like a great great great half cousin once removed to a half sister, who got it on with one of the emperors.

Sorry, spoon, but you're wrong.

They said there are several bloodlines that are Dragonborn. It just happened to be that the Septim bloodline was the most prominently known, and they were the ruling line. There were multiple Bloodlines, however, and were not just limited to one race.

The PC in Skyrim will just be one of the last Dragonborn...
