People get so up in arms over violence in general or various forms of violence in games, and it makes me wonder how they can get so worked up on violence in games, when in past wars and any present incursions, kids, adults, and whatever are dieing being abused etc.

Who says its ok because it happens in real life? I am saying you should be so up in arms about what goes on in games when real life examples are happening. So say there is a drug cartel in say brazil that as a childe slave trade going on. Would you complain and try to do something about it or would you complain if that happened in a game instead?

If a tree falls in the woods, does it make a sound?
Yes and no, based on various principles it would make a sound if no one was there to hear it, yet it wouldn't because no (sentient lifeform) would be there to hear it... But if trees could talk to us, then I say the other trees would hear it though.
