Sniper0061Posted 5/23/2011 1:46:12 AM | turning all music audio off entirely (sometimes) when running through the forests and stuff, to try to hear wildlife and ambient sounds? When I'm not doing anything too important, I know I will. You can connect better to a game like this without music. You can hear your character panting for breath, your gear clanking together, and your footsteps change on different terrains. Maybe we can even hear some enemies from a decent distance, and as a hunter, that is VERY useful. Imagine it, All the sudden you're running through the forest, and you hear something familiar. You can stop immediately and wait to hear it again, and then discern it's location and assess the situation. is it a mammoth? a wolf pack? a deer? perhaps a dragon? If the latter, then thank Akatosh you didn't just run into the clearing carelessly bobbing your head to nice music just to get eaten by something higher than you on the food chain. xD --- GT- x Tatums x -I've logged over Six Thousand (6,000) Hours in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and counting. :D |
deathcoffeePosted 5/23/2011 1:54:19 AM | It seems like it will be like Oblivion where the music changes immediately when an enemy turns hostile, even if you can't see the enemy and they haven't hit you. So yes, I'll probably turn the music off sometimes. |
