"Dynamic Snow"?

Can anyone please explain what it means? It sounds awesome but it's the one thing I don't understand.

Thanks

^ This. And they probably mean it's degradable. So, expect realistic footprints and tracks from other creatures and shifts in snow dunes etc.

And when it snows said footprints and tracks are covered up.

Yeah, as these guys have said. It means it'll be way more realistic.

Im not 100% on this but I think they also said that it will actually land on trees and such when it snows instead of just going straight through them.

Dynamic snow = it's more than just texture on the ground and particles in the air.
It accumulates on branches and the ground realistically, even weighing down on branches.

Of course, it won't create massive piles, but it's more than just textures on the ground anyway.

So say I'm outside...but I'm standing under a little porch in front of someone's house...if it rains...will it go through the wood above me?

It shouldn't, unless it is a poorly made porch.
