In Oblivion and Morrowind(the only TES I've played) other than unique race skills, you could pretty much master and max out any skill or ability you wanted. In Skyrim so far you get one perk point per level up and there are more perks available than you could afford.
Does anyone know if you can still make yourself virtually invincible like you could in Oblivion and Morrowind? Like 100% physical damage resist or 100% magicka resist enchantments and stuff like that?
Once I complete everything in the game, I usually like to make my characters godly/invincible and just go around, dominate, etc. Is that not doable in Skyrim? --- Undefeated lifetime. Currently playing: Xenoblade Chronicles, Dark Souls, BF 3, Uncharted 3, Skyrim | Soon: AC: Revelations, Zelda: SS
Probably not, until we find an infinite attribute/perks glitch.

Or rather they made you unable to be a master at every craft and instead gave you literal god-like abilities to play around with. --- "I can wire anything directly into anything! I'm the Professor!" - The Professor

as long as enchantment is one of your skills you can still become plenty godly. you just have to put some thought into your character this time around instead of mxxorzsizing evarthang.
