To level conjuration faster cast dual bound swords in front of a slaughterfish. As soon as the spell finishes, before your character has time to pull out the weapons go into your favorites menu. The spells should both be unequipped, this is because your character is preparing to equip the bound weapons. Re-equip it in both hands, exit the menu and you can cast it again immediately without having to wait on the long equip animation. Using this method I was able to level it much more quickly.

When I ran low on magic I used the equilibrium spell in tandem with fast healing to recharge it more quickly.

I think I'll stick with PLAYING THE GAME in order to improve my skills.

Some of us don't have all the time in the world to play this game.

Apparently you have the time to waste building up eroneous skills rather than having fun actually playing the game. The game isn't a race to the finish line. It's not like it's an MMORPG and you're creating a second character and just trying to get to the end game. In the long run, you're going to spend more time building your skills than if you just went out and played the game. And how does getting all your stats to 100 and getting full dragon armor, etc. at the beginning of the game going to improve the experience? It's just going to make it easy and boring.

Sorry that my SINGLE PLAYER experience is ruining your SINGLE PLAYER experience.

I found a decent way to train smithing.

Find the Transmute spell in Halted Stream Camp (North of Whiterun)
Mine a lot of iron ore.

Use transmute to turn the iron ore into silver ore, then gold ore.
Making gold ingots.
Make gold necklaces for 1 gold ingot a piece.

It's profitable, AND it levels your smithing and alteration.

WARNING THIS POST CONTAINS LIGHT SPOILERS
I'll delete if requested.

For Lockpick:

There's a training chest in the Thieves Guild that you can gain access to very early in the quest line, pretty much right after joining....or

*Thieves Guild Reward/Quest Spoilers*

Wait until you attain the Skeleton Key late in the Guild's primary quest line. Just like in Oblivion it is unbreakable, use it on the training chest to achieve results very quickly. Note: You have to give it up to finish the quest, so be sure to exploit it beforehand.
