I'm trying to see whether 2 effects while enchanting is useful or not - whether the power of the enchantment gets split between them or not?
So for instance, let's presume I'm enchanting something with 1 Grand Soul.
If I only enchant them with [Effect 1], I get [Effect 1 - 100%]
If I enchant two effects, do I get: [Effect 1 - 100%] [Effect 2 - 100%]
[Effect 1 - 50%] [Effect 2 - 50%]

It does not get split. You can put Resist Fire 50% and Resist Shock 50% on your shield and boots. Now you're completely immune to two of the three elements. --- Not changing my sig until the Toronto Maple Leafs make the playoffs. Started 08/23/2010 http://i55.tinypic.com/2a9ntxe.jpg

I think you have to use two soul gems. Put one enchant on with one, and then go back and put the second enchant on with the other one. --- Space Pope of GFAQs. All hail his celestial eminence!

I'm not sure, but if you're at the point in the game where you have access to this perk, just save your game, take the perk, and try it out. If it doesn't work as expected, reload to before you took the perk so it isn't wasted... --- GT: squirrels4ev Currently playing: Skyrim
