Where are the best mines?

#1Epic__FailurePosted 11/24/2011 2:24:43 PM
I came across a big gold mine over on the far left of Skyrim and one iron mine north of Whiterun.. but I know there has to be more.

Where can I find more?

There is some malachite/ebony/orichalcum deposits at the Throat of the World. And I mean the VERY TOP, past the, err... unusually large greybeard.

Here's a list of rare metals. I left out Corundum because all you have to do is find Dwarven ruins and melt down the metals you loot inside.

also, keep in mind that these aren't the only locations to find these ores.

Quicksilver: Dawnstar Quicksilver Mine
Ebony: Gloombound Mine
Silver: The mines of Karthwasten
Gold: Kolskegger Mine
Malachite: Kynesgrove Mine
Orichalcum: Bilegulch Mine

You should have included corundum because I'm sure you meant dwarven metal ingots.

I've noticed that Dwarven Ingots are, after iron and steel, the most common ingots in the game. And metal parts looted in Dwarven Dungeons can be smelted into Dwarven/corundum ingots.

Anyway

Corundum: Darkwater Crossing...or any Dwarven Ruin
