Not much besides finish exploring the unexplored. Collecting loot, i don't know. Start a new character?
I personally try to leave to main storyline until much later in the game.

sell it to the orc librarian for 2k or hang on to it. Protip: read it before going into battle. Makes things REEEEEAL interesting
