Standing Stones?

Where can I find a standing stone that would help my high elf mage? I already found the mages stone from the beginning of the game.

I prefer the lord. Magic Resist, and 50 points of armor.

This added with Flesh spells and Mage armor nets an armor rating of 350, plus you can throw a Ward up to add another 50 or so.

Though I tend to melee.

It would help your survivability. But you still need to be able to kill things to survive. So decide - more magicka and spell absorbtion or better all around defense.

Atronoch is the best for mages

I love the steed stone for anything else. There's an additional effect that the strategy guide and the two wikis didn't even mention (until I edited them in less than 5 minutes ago). In addition to an additional 100 weight and no more armor slowdown any armor you wear is completely weightless! So if you wear heavy armor it's more like a 160+ bonus! A dungeon plunderers dream!
