Ok, here's the story, I'm traveling from whiterun to riverwood and I run into 3 Imperial soldiers escorting a couple stormcloak prisoners. Well of course l, true to my stormcloak duties, I waste the first imperial right off the top with a dual wield standing power attack and what do u know I get a 40 septum bounty from whiterun! (SLIGHT SPOILER) The stormcloaks have already taken over whiterun so I don't see how I could possibly get a bounty for this. And I know some of you are gonna say that I hit the stormcloak prisoner but I have reloaded and done this multiple times making SURE I hit imperials only. Not a huge deal cuz the bounty isn't that big but they freakin attack on sight so I was wondering if there was a possible way to avoid this in the future. Thanks.

Talk to one of them and you can get them attack you or you can just stand near the prisoner and they'll attack.

I think that should be patched so after you've captured solitude killing imperials incurs no penalties.
Schoolyard metagame was the best, you didn't get mobbed by 10 year olds because you used Blaziken-Bananamatic

Yeah, and also allowing you to kill the invincible Imperial commanders after you become a Stormcloak (and vice versa).
