shout only?

How close could you get to a shout only playthrough?

You are the dragonborn... an unlucky, incapable, below average person with no combat or magic ability. You dont even hit with your bare hands. Don't know how to work a lockpic.... don't know how to haggle and barter... you can make an occaisional friend, find stuff in opened treasure chests and.... yell at things.

Just learn how to lure your enemies to cliffs.

Unless you become a sneak master, getting your character to the point where he actually has some decent shouts to use on enemies will be tough... and you'll almost have to use the fortify restoration glitch to get 0 cooldown on shouts to be any kind of effective with the build.

Shout only is a piece of pie. Just do the first part of clear skies shout over and over, it has like a 1 second cooldown. Your enemies will be totally stunlocked while followers dps.

Doing a no shouts playthrough would be easier.

Luring enemies to cliffs is good. Just not always possible. With no skill in alchemy fortify loop is out... but there's no reason you can't find a fortify restoration potion before you equip your necklace and get your blessing. That'll help a little.

What shouts do you rely on most for this? What gets you throughout the day? And who's the best follower/ bodyguard?

you have to kill 2 dragons for the main quest which so you can always just get feim during jurgen windcaller quest...

difficult to kill anything with that though - you do have to kill some things to finish quests so it could be tricky with only first word of fire breath...

guess you would need to do alot of waiting for others to kill dragons to get souls....getting souls is clearly the hard part....that and the stupid cool down for most shouts...

You'd have to rely almost completely on followers. Remember that you have to kill dragons to unlock shouts.

Yes this is true. And the main reason why over restrictive builds sound great when you're coming up with the concept, but end up tedious (and also not very immersive) in practice.

You would be doing a LOT of Marked for Death and Fire Breath.. I don't know how fun that would be.
