So I've been studying up on this and it looks like you can save a 360 save to your Flash drive and import the save into a PC version of the game and then mod the game only to transfer the game back to Xbox...
I've been doing some checking and have currently watch and completed a couple of gamesave files from YOUTUBE to confirm this.
Has anyone discovered a way to pull the nexus mods over to the 360 version. Yes i know this is altering the game itself... since this is not an online game there should be no ill effects.
I'm basically trying to bring over the Levelers Tower mod and maybe a couple extras to my Xbox.
Yes I know I could buy the PC version and play, but I'm a console gamer.
You can't use any mods that rely on anything not in the default game, you can only edit saves with the console. --- After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and to shoals of dust, I will return to where I began.
I'm sure there would be some complications getting it to work on console, I'm not savvy on this stuff so I don't know. It would be cool if you could get it to work though but I wouldn't hold my breath on it. --- A great force, the power it holds can bring forth either salvation or destruction, at the whim of the user- Aura Member of TBWNN.
These guys appear to have altered the game itself, as there are 2 new structures created as well as new characters along with mod chests and other things.
I can confirm this mod does work on xbox as I have this. My thought was if this could be done... why couldnt we pull the nexus mods over to do the same thing.
It was actually quite easy to do. I'm hooked on mods now!
someone on here has to be experiences in this and has the Levelers Tower mod on their xbox!
Probably because whatever is done there was done in the CS, and doesn't use new resources. Though there might be other, less legal ways to do things that I'm not aware of. --- After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and to shoals of dust, I will return to where I began.
Hmm... would it be possible to remove NPCs' essential status on 360? That's probably what I'm most desiring in Skyrim right now. Maven and the bratty children must DIE! --- Why do people... betray one another? They might as well... all just die instead. Welcome to my kingdom!
Legal? If these guys are able to mod a PC game then Bethd knows its going on. Since this is not an online game, I don't believe it's monitored by Xbox live as there is no creative advantage in a multiplayer environment and I havent illegally acquired the game.
Plus as the video shows... it's being done, and it can't be only these guys doing it. I think people just got so use to not trying to mod the Xbox versions that they stopped trying
I know that if I have to be the guy that does this...it's a sad day, as I know enough about CPUs to break stuff.
