Skyrim and Morrowind are both amazing.
This is absolutely right BUT Skyrim is a combat focused game.Just like your typical action game the menus are very simplistic, Speech skill is pretty much pointless through the majority of the play through, the dialog options are limited, and choices made by the player have very little effects. Its painfully obvious that they wanted to make combat a huge part of skyrim. Its more of a hack and slash game with RPG elements.It is a great a role player in the sense that you can play tomato farmer, flower salesman, professional swimmer, or pants thief but thats where it ends.
Its like calling Call of duty a tactical shooter, or grand theft auto a driving or taxi simulator.
Now Fallout new vegas was a good RPG.
