Who is your Steward, and how did you furnish your Hearthfire home?

Who did you choose for Steward?

I will make the Dawnstar property my main house, and will use Gregor as housecarl but I want someone else to be my steward so I have an extra body around. Aela is my wife, Gregor will provide some muscle, but I want a steward to help assist in beating down and bandit or giant attacks ha ha. Rp'ing safety first. ;)

I was thinking of going with Lydia, but who else make a good steward?

Also, did you have your steward furnish the parts of the house, or did you just use the workbench yourself? For the most part, I'll just end up having all the furnishings I can in the wings, etc., but I wonder if I should just make stuff my self on the individual workbenches or have the steward furnish it.

Also, if I build the wings of the house and have the steward furnish everything simultaneously will bugs occur? Thanks!

Uthgerd the Unbroken

And all you have to do to get her is beat her up.

I would give her one-handed item though. Its her primary skill.

Using the Steward to furnish is nice, but it takes a long long long time for items to start appearing. Its actually cheaper for you to buy the material and build yourself.

I got a LOT of septims haha. I only worry about setting bugs off- I may not mind elapsed time to furnish.

As far as a steward goes, I want some one who's actually good at fighting. Maybe Lydia or Iona would be good to choose, unless that Uthgerd or an Orc or someone else can hold their own as good.

Uthgerd is a very capable warrior if you give her good equipment.

Iona looks a bit tougher per the skills they list in each's wiki. Hmmm.
