BurstBear posted... Everyone that joins the stormcloaks, please, keep in mind they do not stand up for you. Even at the chopping block none are willing to note that you're a stranger to them and they have no idea who the hell you are. Also note that they have you jump across a building on your own and leave you to your own devices, while Hadvar advises you stay close and implies he'll protect you. Also remember Tulius doesn't care. Stay close to him for a few seconds and he tells you to run. Hadvar even tried to make peace with the stormcloaks inside the Keep before they attacked him. Wow. That was so full of flaws I don't even know where to begin. --- Winter is coming

The Thalmor are very much abducting people from their own homes and such, look at Markarth. On the flipside if you side with the empire you get Maven Black-briar as Jarl of Riften which is a horrible person to be in charge of a hold. --- Xbox live gamertag: Surmatise
On the flipside if you side with the empire you get Maven Black-briar as Jarl of Riften which is a horrible person to be in charge of a hold. Maven controls Riften regardless of whether or not she's the Jarl. It's a superfluous appointment in her case. --- "We get serious about fictional girl underpants, and kid around when it comes to topics like world hunger." ~Teepo on CAGN

Even at the chopping block none are willing to note that you're a stranger to them and they have no idea who the hell you are. "Face your death with some courage, thief." Ralof told Lorkir. They knew death was inevitable, even if they would have spoken up for you, the Empire would neither believe them or care. The captain was going to see you dead no matter what. Just because the Stormcloaks don't speak in your defense doesn't mean they did you a disservice. They acted honorable, according to Nord standards, bring brave in the face of death (while in contrast, the Empire faced death but bowed the knee and signed the White Gold Concordat). BurstBear posted... Also note that they have you jump across a building on your own and leave you to your own devices, while Hadvar advises you stay close and implies he'll protect you. Alduin followed you. That wasn't something Ralof planned. But you drew Alduin's attention off of the tower, letting Ralof, Ulfric and whoever remained to escape another way. Not to mention, Ralof urges you to join him in escaping Helgen. BurstBear posted... Also remember Tulius doesn't care. Stay close to him for a few seconds and he tells you to run. This you were right about. The Captain orders your execution even in spite of Hadvar's questioning that you were not on the list, Tullius was standing not even ten feet from her but his sense of justice is so screwed up he doesn't override the Captain's order. And yet, you want to fault the Stormcloaks for not speaking up. --- Winter is coming
Like I said the other day, this is the Skyrim board, you're not allowed to prefer the Stormcloaks over the Imperials or Skyrim over New Vegas. --- I know the way of the female, the way they seduce you, tryin to be friends with you, then all of a sudden you're sittin there with the valentines they dont want

obishawn posted... suksass posted...Ulfric will overlook anything happening to the other people so long as they not Nords. Tulius will in the very least not be able to close his eyes on it do to his militarstic notions. But Tullius will close his eyes when the Thalmor outright execute anyone they claim worships Talos and that's ok and justifiable, right? From my characters point of view including what he had seen before coming to windhelm that and the rest of SC suporters that's certainly enough. Judge king by his action and people. To thouse claiming that Ulfric defeated the old high jarl in honorable combat is a lie. You forget what ''Honorable'' means. In here he simply shouted the king, there was no duel to speak off. Otherwise why not have dragonborn be high jarl. Definetly powerfull enough to shout everyone to death.
And as i said before, if you want to talk about racisim, look at the high elves stand point about humans. They are just as bad; worse than the nords. The Imperial, after the loss of their emperor from the oblivion crisis, has crumbled to what you call a corrupt governer system and the nords are only revolutionizing against them; even though Ulfric is more like going after the throne.

What is it that makes you so obsessed with mentioning New Vegas every chance you get? --- Trust not the words of a poet, as he is born to seduce.
