Some actual evidence that he's racist too while you're at it, please. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Thalmor_Dossier%3A_Ulfric_Stormcloak Status: Asset (uncooperative) And please show me exactly where it states anywhere that he personally refuses to let them better their lives. --- Breakin' rules since the seventeenth century. xSCMx posted... Think of this as Pokemon. The Dominion challenged the Empire to a battle. This battle was so hard that eventually both trainers decided it was a tie. The empire wants to go back and secretly train to the next time there is a fight, it can easily beat the opponent, but now some of the pokemon (Stormcloaks), want to fight the AD singlehandedly, but the Empire is trying to stop it, since it knows the Stormcloaks will get easily overrun, and the Empire will be weaker. This is the best analogy ever. --- "You persist too long after your own defeat. Come then, warrior. Have your resolution."

It wasn't a "tie", the Empire lost. 2. Hammerfell did fine w/o the Empire, why is everyone so sure Skyrim will fail? --- I store dead bodies all up under my house and every night I hear them runnin' they mouths.
Temporary alliance with independant skyrim wouldn't bring anything for Empire. The Empire is wasting time, men, money and resources fighting a war against its own citizens that could have been avoided. Ulfric gave them time. They knew he was a bomb ready to explode and yet he gave them time to do something, anything. Any action that showed an effort. Yes, I believe if they would have offered him an olive branch, he would have taken it, not without terms, of course, but it still would have been a form of peace. So, not only would the Empire not wasted time, men, money and resources, but they would have gain the other 50% of Skyrim as allies against the Thalmor. --- Winter is coming

Dude...what? The Empire won the last big victory of the war. They did not "lose." Hammerfell fought them to a standstill, DECIMATING HALF THEIR PROVINCE IN THE PROCESS. They did NOT "do fine." It's likely the AD didnt even want Hammerfell anyways, but just to further splinter the Empire. --- Rebel is pretty much a planet, pulling all sorts of moons and satellites his way, among them good, bad, foolish, trollish, and everything else - SeaArrKing

I think someone posted allready why Hammerfell did fine. Too lazy to look back but it was something about Empire winning some major battle and leaving a great chunk of it's forces in Hammerfell

RebelElite791 posted... Dude...what? Th terms of the "treaty" call for the Empire to abandon Talos worship and parts of Hammerfell, while the Dominion does what exactly? Yeah, that's a fair treaty, not a surrender. Also, isn't the goal of the Thalmor to unmake the earth anyways? So why then is it important if hammerfell decimated their land, isn't that and victory still better than non-existence? --- I store dead bodies all up under my house and every night I hear them runnin' they mouths.
