I added that last part (it's implied by conversations you have with tons of people, but I'm not gonna cite that crap because I don't have the time), but under Ulfric, the Argonians ARE NOT allowed inside the city and that Dunmer ARE FORCED to live in the Grey Quarter. Go to Windhelm and find out for yourself. Like I said, I'm done arguing with you two.

Been nice talkin' to you.
Won't bother proving you wrong. Y'know, since you won't see it and all.

Ugh, fine. I'll post this and then I'll go:

"The Dark Elves are confined to a cramped slum below the rest of Windhelm called the Gray Quarter. The elves are not violently persecuted, but the local Nords are suspicious and outwardly xenophobic, and Ulfric Stormcloak turns a blind eye to their plight. Argonians also populate Windhelm, but are prohibited from entering the city itself and are forced to live and work on the docks outside the city walls."

Ulfric and many of his followers are racist. There's no denying that, no matter how dubious the rest of my points may be.

Eh, from now on, I'm only gonna post facts. None of this opinionated speculation from me.

While normaly I would be on your side. I would like to point out that most nords seem to be racist. Ulfric turning blind eyes doesn't exactly make him racist. But it certainly doesn't show signs of him being a good ruler eather as he ignores the subjects he deems less important do to their status. Nords generaly mistrust elves and actualy I'm suprised that dunmer are even allowed in the city at all.

Called it. Don't worry, we're all guilty of it sometimes.

Wikis are not a good source for facts. Much of that quote was just as much opinion and speculation as yours, just given by somebody else. You also left this out.

"Brunwulf Free-Winter, a supporter of both Argonians and Dark Elves, believes that the Argonians must remain outside of the city simply for their own safety."

It's all because Ulfric is racist, right? It couldn't possibly be because there are other racist people in Windhelm.

You may not be Tiber Septim, but you are far closer to him in spirit than Titus Mede is. Also, remember that the Ghost of Old Hroldan confused you for Hjalti Early-Beard, which was Tiber Septim's name before he became Tiber Septim. He probably sees you for your soul -- the soul of a dragon, not a man, just like Tiber Septim -- not your actual appearance. It might be a hint that you, just like the protagonist of Morrowind, are the reincarnation of an older being. Y'know, the Nerevarrine and all of that. I concede that the comparison isn't perfect, but the situation is similar.

And Martin Septim, the last Septim, was indeed a Dragonborn, in that he had the soul of a dragon. He simply did not learn the Way of the Voice.

And I'm done arguing for now. You guys are just too disrespectful for my tastes.

Martin Septim did not have the soul of a Dragon. Please learn your lore before talking and trying to talk down to people. He was "Dragonborn" by coronation/birthright only.

You're the reincarnation of a dragon, that's nothing like the Nerevarine.

Why is everyone afraid of the thalmor? We didnt lose we just didnt have the constitution to keep fighting. It was like Vietnam. They dont seem that tough. I kill them with my stormcloak every chance i get with ease. And If I seen a purple person with pointy ears or a walking lizard or cat I would probably A. Try to capture it so i could make money or B. kill it cause that's just creepy. In most cases I say live in let live but I hate purple people...unless you're chocking then someone help them. Bretons, imperials, nords, and redguards only. The rest are just creepy crawlies that need to be done away with. Seriously it's not a race thing it's a species thing. Not in my species? Then you're a pet or dinner

People are scared because the Thalmor have free roam and can easilly arrest you, drag you away, torture you before killing you just because you worship Talos.

If the Empire tried to stop them, saying "Hey! You can't just KILL people for their beliefs" then the peace treaty would end and the war would begin again.

Just like a quote from Lord of the Rings: "Your quest stands on the edge of a knife, stray just a little and it will fail, to the ruin of us all"

If the Empire or indeed anyone dares to mock the Thalmor, they will be hunted again and again and again and again until everyone in that family is dead.

I came in expecting Stormcloak vs. Imperial.

What I got was Rebel in loremaster mode. Again.
