Sheo said he will take up the mantle of the mad god. Sheo exists in Skyrim. Don't try to make it convoluted we have no evidence that anything else happened.

And if your point is that it's not part of the main story, well then the Dragonborn expansion obviously didn't happen for the Dragonborn, it's not part of the main story.

No, its not cannon because CoC is never addressed as CoC ANYWHERE in SI. Just because you chose the CoC to become the Mad God doesn't make it cannon. We know Sheo was replaced by a mortal but there is literally NO proof that it was the CoC specifically that became Sheo.

Also, the DB is asininely OP even w/o any DLC because of shouts.

pretty sure if you just listen to Sheo's dialogue and him talking about what he used to do as a mortal... all the proof you need that he was in fact CoC.

My Neravarine and my Dragonborn wouldn't have a reason for fighting: they're friends.

this is possible due to the fact that the lore around the Neravarine suggest He/She is immortal. 'Nither Blight nor Age can harm him the Curse of Flesh before him flees?'

So the CoC was canonically in the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood? Pretty shady stuff, haha.

People, they left it ambiguous! AMBIGUOUS. There is no definite answer to this! If they wanted it to be the CoC, they would have had Sheo say so. If they DIDN'T, they wouldn't! Simple as that!

I don't know who would win in a "battle royale". But I know who would win in a wall jumping contest.

Exactly. I'll take what I've previously seen from Rebel and other board specific 'lore masters' over random forummer # ?...
