Doesn't the game auto-reload after death?

He'd be alive.

/topic

unless the game freezes

In that case you turn off the game and reload it, causing him to be alive.

Until you actually return to see him, he can be considered both alive and dead...

I have no opinion on the actual science, I'm not quantum physicist. But a simple google search will tell you that Schrodinger himself did not actually think the cat was both alive and dead at the same time in a literal sense.

It was less of a "hey, look this thing you might think is impossible and contradictory is actually true", and more of a "hey guys, look at what our current theories give us, we obviously have something wrong if we can get a result like this".

They land on one foot. They bark like a dog before eating grass like a cow. And it is 17 minutes before 54 minutes after 74 hours before 2 weeks later divided by pi to the power of e hours before 6 PM on the following Monday.

Well according to Berkeley the cat doesn't exist if there is no one to observe it doing so, therefore this whole topic is moot.
