Is worshiping Talos kind of like worshiping Jesus?

Please point out where I indicated a lack of comprehension that necessitated you to explain that the Bible is a stale text and science is evolving. I have plenty of experience in the natural sciences and you're not exactly spitting rocket science here, so don't be so proud of yourself.

Way back when you posted how you're such a science minded individual but religious can have valid rationale without any explanation as to what that entails. Then you state how the "science argument" is appropriately named evolution. That's not the only scientific theory to work in opposition to creationism. The "science argument", as you call it, entails more than just evolution. You didn't seem to understand that.

Seems I need to repeat this for the third time because you insist on ignoring what I say. I admittedly had not read the whole thread or saw where somebody had posted something as a "declarative fact". I saw you attempting to tear down NickSaban's Bible quotes with logic as if that was going to work. I've had numerous discussions with religious friends on the very same grounds and it doesn't go anywhere. They will give you vague scripture to counter any reason you provide. And I also didn't claim to have a personal epiphany nor did I notice that he claimed he had one which constituted fact, because for the fourth time, I haven't read everything in the thread.

Condescending? No. Challenging what I perceive as absurd moral notions and exposing logical fallacies in an acerbic fashion? Yes.

Nope, just calling it as I see it. Hopefully it's just your message board persona.

Guess I can use that excuse too.

Why the **** did you bump this again? Just so you could satisfy your bigoted fetish? I haven't seen this much stupidity and woeful ignorance come out of a person in quite a while. Did you honestly attempt to make an arguement that the Bible says Slavery is okay? Really? It's funny how you went to all those lengths to post little snippets of scripture to try and make your out-of-context points, but avoided the things that disprove you.

Please stop, you are a bigot. You attempt to come in here and accuse Christians of being bigoted, while only engaging in it yourself. Maybe you should go join a political camp, you have an affinity for taking things out of context and just straight-up lying to make a point. You'd fit right in.

You mad bro? Don't blame me...blame your holy text. In addition, no one has disproved anything I've said so far. Every scripture I quoted was definitive and in context. It's not my fault that the guys who made up "God" forgot something.

Wow. Your reading comprehension is way off. I didn't accuse Christians of being bigots; however, I have pointed where their main holy text offers some rather immoral advice.

It's so funny how Christian defenders always claim that those who are opposed to their ideology take it all "out of context"...even when the context is blatant. Don't get mad at me because some people are in denial, man.

Oh you mean you ascertained that I didn't understand that based on one message I sent appropriating evolution as the antithesis to Scripture? Because I didn't list every single theory on a message board that equates to lack of knowledge? Clearly the purpose of my message was not a detailed argument but a quip about your attitude and remarking you stated the obvious. You need to brush up on your....what did you say again....oh yeah, reading comprehension.....Sigh....

Guess I can use that excuse too.

Written by men who THOUGHT God was speaking to them. /fixed

Seriously though, maybe these people were just as psychotic as people think that god is talking to them today. "Oh God wanted me to kill." That kind of stuff. I don't think it's too wise to base your entire life and how you act on something that cannot be proven to be real.

Or maybe the writers of the bible were just as gullible as people who sees Jesus in there pancakes and think its a sign.

Do you always quote yourself when quoting someone else...or is the quote function just a mystery to you?

Anyways, here are your exact words:
Not a very revealing statement considering the driving force behind the science argument is appropriately named evolution.

That statement indicates that you believe evolutionary theory is the driving force behind the, as you put it, 'science argument'.

It's not. It's a single element. Physics, geophysics, geology, astronomy...these sciences are part of the 'science argument'. It is science itself that is the driving force behind the 'science argument'. Singling out a single scientific theory and calling it the driving force just doesn't work because if that 'driving force' ever proves invalid, then one could argue the 'science argument' falls apart.

Do you get it now or do I need to further elaborate?
