yeah we hate the pc crowd with burning passion they should get cut.
Note to mods: this post is just saying what the TC is saying and is more blunt and clear. I figure this will help people understand what we are saying so they can take it back to there sides.
More like you guys should hate PC elitists. Not average PC gamers. You know, the ones that usually go "PC master race". --- Like Drawing? Like Anime-Manga? Join the OT Draw Thread! http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/2000121-anime-and-manga-other-titles/64830865
I own on PC, it's "better" but not in the same way that 360 is better than PS3.
PC users would kill me for this, but 99% of mods I come across are pointless, buggy, stupid or they require me to spend far more money on my PC than I am willing.
Yeah, we get unofficial bug fixes, and a few gems that really make the game better, but for the most part it's nothing to really brag openly about.
It's optional anyway. The best thing is that you don't need a good PC for bug fixes or any gameplay mods or overhauls. They don't eat up performance. --- Like Drawing? Like Anime-Manga? Join the OT Draw Thread! http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/2000121-anime-and-manga-other-titles/64830865
Console players often dislike the PC crowd not because a well-built PC is amazing for Skyrim. It's because PC players often feel the need to make a point of that and belittle peoples choice to play on a console on almost a daily basis. Not unlike this topic really.
Of course not all PC players are like this.
Posters like this have given you the reason most console players have an initial dislike of the PC crowd. It has very little to do with jealousy. People hate Jehovah (sp?) witnesses not because they are jealous of their religion, but because they wont stop ringing your door bell to tell you that you're going to hell because you're not part of it.
With that being said, I have yet to see anyone comment that the PC version isn't beautiful or full of possibilities. Most are just content with what they have and can't understand why others are so bothered by it. "It may be the better version.....but I'll stick with the console version at the moment thank you." That statement alone bothers way too many PC gamers for reasons unknown to the point of bashing the console version.
So if you could deal on the multiple post mentioning this as their reason I would appreciate it. I'm curious if you're purposely ignoring them.
I'm guessing those type of PC players had PC as their first gaming system. I grew up with consoles, so yeah... PC elitism sometimes go to far. Not everyone can afford good gaming rigs. --- Like Drawing? Like Anime-Manga? Join the OT Draw Thread! http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/2000121-anime-and-manga-other-titles/64830865
I don't hate PC gamers, I just don't care for PC gaming. Nothing about it impresses me. When I come here, ideally I'd rather not know what platform anyone uses. My concern is reading about the game I'm playing, in the format that I'm playing it, which is why I come to the 360 board.
The ironic part to me is the fact the PC board is dead, despite it's supposed superiority. I think it's a general reflection of the overall problem I have with PC gaming in the first place. In the pursuit of always making something "better", it actually weakens the sense of enjoyment. --- "The madman is not the man who has lost his reason. PC players never bothered me. I started playing TES on PC and later migrated to console play.
The PC is better but the only thing I miss out on really is mods and I can do without those myself.
I can't really go back to vanilla Skyrim with all it's balancing issues. It loses it's challenge once your decent leveled, enchanting is broken, and dragons are too weak that guards can kill them easily. --- Like Drawing? Like Anime-Manga?
