The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

not to interrupt the latest pissing contest, but because most enemies and shopkeepers are male, you get a better benefit from agent of dibella and whatever that speech perk is that gives better prices from opposite gender, and new lovers insight from dragonborn works the same way. that's why i play a female in this game, and also to see what if anything is different gameplay wise. (so far only the gear looking different for females)

Always play as a male character in every game where I'm given the choice....I'm a dude. Playing as a female sort of takes away from the immersion aspect of the game.

Is it wierd to play as a redguard if you aren't black? Is it wierd to play as a khajiit if you aren't a cat? Is it wierd to play as an argonian if you aren't a fish? Honestly is choosing a guy who is a super badass dragborn with incredible strength and skill any more immersive then choosing a girl? It's just a game, honestly.

The only thing wrong with you is that you can't roleplay, the character that you play as doesn't need to be you.

If you find it weird for people to create a female character I have every right to find it just as weird that you're seeing yourself in a video game character. Is your life that dull and boring that you need to become the character?

As many have said the character regardless of RPing doesn't NEED to be you, Paul Anderson is male and the main character in the RE movies is Alice. It just goes to show you don't have the ability to be a writer since you can't create a story for any gender other than your own nor are you capable of suspending your belief and not making the character yourself.

I enjoy the idea of a badass woman not taking shiet from anyone and doing their own thing. I can't create that story with a male character, learn to not be insecure

you left out is it weird if your playing as a nord/breton/imperial and your not white
