Do you play in 1st person or 3rd person? and why?

Just wondering.

I switch between them pretty often. Usually 1st person for everything and 3rd for when I when I want to see my character or when an enemy is running all over the place when I'm trying to show them my sword.

First person, because that's the way the game was designed. Third person screws up the aiming, and if you want to look at your back all the time, play Deep Space.

Mostly first person with some occasional third person. I honestly like 3rd person just a little more, but I find it harder to consistently hit my target in 3rd person

I play third person when roaming around or in cities because I like to look at my character's armor. When in dungeons or in combat I quickly switch to first.

Third person most of the time. I prefer first person for archery though.

Deep Space? Or are you trying to say Dead Space?

Anyway, I prefer first person. I occasionally switch to third person, but not when I'm actually trying to do anything.

I generally use first person for closed quarters like small rooms or dungeons, and third person when I'm out in more open spaces.

Yeah, first person is often handy for close quarters.

Both. I usually stay in third person when traveling or using melee attacks, and switch to first person if I'm using archery or magic.
