What's your favorite way to play? Warrior? Mage? Thief? Assassin? Some combo? Which one haven't you tried yet?

What build types have you played already?

This one always seemed fun to me as a unique take on the battlemage.

Also a lot of people like bounders.... Characters who only rely on bound weapons. Actually a bounder is perfect for a "no crafting character.". Especially with the bound bow.

I have only played a warrior and a thief/assassin/ranger.

Then give some type of mage character a try. You can play pure mage or some combo. Try a spellsword, using magic at range but a sword and healing spell in melee combat. Or a mage/thief. Use Illusion magic to manipulate people and slip by undetected. There are many options. What appeals to you?

I recently tried this: http://theskyrimblog.ning.com/group/character-building/forum/topics/character-build-the-obsidian-sentinel

Pretty good.

In that case try a pure mage...... Use destruction, conjuration, alteration, and enchanting. Add restoration and illusion later in the build. Destruction has its issues but is vveerryy powerful when combined with cost reduction, aspect of terror, etc you can dual cast an incinerate thay does around 230 damage with stagger. Pretty sweet.

Also conjuration becomes ridiculously powerful. Overall ny pure mage was a fun and very unique experience. Word of warning tho, its difficult getting this guy started.

Illusion + conjuration, while perk heavy, is one of the most powerful combos for a Mage.

My Mage is perked in all five schools and enchanting. If I don't get ambushed, I wreck.

If you haven't, Roleplay the character too. Eat, sleep, limit Fast Travel, have a moral code, create a backstory, etc.
