I haven't seen Xbox in awhile myself.

Anyways I like the lore, I'm no lore master (>.> yet someday maybe) but I know some stuff here and there. Mainly when I see some book title in game that gets me intrested or when I see something here that piques my interest I'll study up a bit on something.

He's on the TES Lore forum fairly regularly. There's an Orsinium thread there (titled "Why so much hate for Orsinium?") at the moment that he was in pre-Xmas, so he's probably just been busy with family stuff.

Yeah that time of year. This is really the only TES related place I discuss anything on, just convient I guess. Thought about going else where as well but just never got arround to it.

Wait, what? Is this out of world Orsinium hate in world Orsinium hate?

The lore is fascinating and deep. Most of it comes in via books. And since writers are fallible, many of the book contradict. There are a LOT of books:

For me, one of the most interesting things is the fact that they have somehow accounted for the fact the each game has multiple endings into the lore. There are numerous accounts of various, contradictory events at certain times in history (ie: when we play the games). They call these inconsistencies "dragon breaks". "Dragon" because Akatosh (a dragon) is a time-god of sorts. So "Time break", because time happened differently in many places.

Sometimes we kill the emperor...sometimes we don't.

The only game in which a Dragon Break is used to cover all the endings was Daggerfall. All the other MQs are too linear to warrant it's use.
