I'm making an Archer character and wondering which shout is better
Aura Whisper or Throw Voice?

What?

Totally different shouts. One detects life for you, one distracts enemies.

And why do you have to choose between the two?

Throw Voice is meh.

Aura whisper is a big deal but takes all the effort out of trying to find enemies cause it is super easy.

They're completely different Shouts.

Aura Whisper provides a Detect Life effect, so you can see what's on the other side of that door or behind that wall. It works on Undead, Daedra, and Dwemer constructs, too.

Throw Voice creates a distraction to draw the attention of guards and stuff.

They both have there uses.

Casually Hardcore

I would go with Aura Whisper, Suggesting you also went with the stealth approach with it, even if you didn't, Voice Throw cause to much of a panic with enemies in the area and can cause too much movement.

i prefer throw voice, i rarely use detect life.. and still always find my enemies.. , honestly i purposely.. just shoot an arrow to see if there are enemies around time to time :P
