About to begin my final year of a teaching and arts degree. I'd be the guy in the town that everyone slowly begins to loathe on a daily basis and who the children hate with an almighty passion.
Well, you could get the brush of truepaint and paint yourself a fortune, maybe become a serial killer... --- I find it amusing that something a drunk person babbled at me is considered "common sense" by Dismind! - Brain Hammer
I work as an event coordinator at an arena right now. It's just a part time thing to pay for what I really love, which is training and competing in combative martial arts. I also do a little personal training a few times a week, and love teaching martial arts. I'm not skilled with weapons though, but I'm still pretty adept at combat.
So I'd probably just train people in some Muay Thai, Boxing and wrestling, and once I make enough money I'd go join the College of Winterhold and learn magic so I could be pretty well rounded. I'd try to master a good paralyze spell so I could just turn my enemies into a punching bag.
I'm thinking about this way too much. --- "Real glory springs from the silent conquest of ourselves."
I worked in a donkey sanctuary for a while, which mainly involved cleaning animals and scooping donkey crap up so a stable boy might be something, but in all serious f*** that! Why do you think I quit in the first place? Being a farmer wouldn't be too bad though, planting vegetables and stuff wouldn't be too bad.
In terms of other skills though I spent most of my teen years helping my father build a major house extension, my dads side of the family is pretty tight about money plus he's a big DIY ethusiast so I learnt a thing or two about building from the ground up in my time, forgotten a lot of it since then but if I did it again I probably remember quick so if you need a few cottages built or something I might be able to lend a hand, doubt I could do it by myself though. Town defenses and fences might be a thing I could do too, providing we have the wood and nails.
In all honesty though I'd probably just leave and join the legion, they might need a sapper or two, then once I served my tour I'd join the mages college if they'd have me, I like history and read a lot so I wouldn't mind getting my nose into some ancient magic tomes and learning their secrets, after gaining enough knowledge in magic I'd move to the woods near riften and use my powers of alteration to construct an Orthanc esque tower, though to be realistic I'd be about 50-60yrs old by the time this happens due the decades I'd have to spend honing my magical skills.
If I lived in Skyrim I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life toiling the land or hammering planks (especially with you lot, no offense.)
