Just more transmutation options, sort of like the Arcane spells Morrigan could cast in Dragon Age. Or items that alter your physical form in some way. Underwater combat!!!

Also, for shiggles: in my current D&D campaign our main DD / tank is a huge-size werebear (when in hybrid form) who just acquired wings and a scythe enchanted both with returning and throwing. So, basically, a thirty-foot tall flying grim reaper werebear. How 'bout that for Elder Scrolls?

I've played an undead Paladin of Pelor who used a big shovel that got blessed with Holy Avenger as a weapon and rode around on a pegasus. Suck on that ES

aren't werewolves and vampires the only two monsters in western cultures that work by temporary transformations? any other monster i can think of are born as monsters, not transformed by one through a bite or mix of blood

Well I suppose zombies would be another, depending on the type. Would mummies also count as "western" culture?

There needs to be a tailor added that will recreate any set of clothes you give them UNENCHANTED. Thalmor robes fit one of my characters perfectly in appearance but the enchantment is bunk -.-"
