And the other Companions know NOTHING of the Circle being Were Wolves, Kodlak said so. They probably wouldn't trust them with the knowledge, especially the Drunkard who could spill the beans on accident after a pint of mead.....................................

The implication was that if the silver-hand were bandits then you wouldn't feel bad for killing them. Bethseda was trying to avoid the moral dissonance of being a good and honorable companion but killing a group of people who destroy blood-lusting, super wolves who terrorize innocent citizens by making the opposition scumbags anyway. It avoids that moral dilemma of, oh f***, I'm just killing a bunch of good guys only because they one my precious racist axe. |
