that makes no sense at all.

the dragonborn is some putz who happens to have a dragonsoul that lets him shout.

alduin is a world destroying mega-dragon/god thingy who's only weakness is a putz with a dragonsoul who can shout dragonrend.

why the hell would they have some sort of emotional relationship?
