don't know but their in forts to mabe they don't mind caves because they can see in the dark or mabe bethesda thought it funny because bats live only in caves and such

There are other vampires. Like Sybille Stentor, Jarl Elisif's court wizard or Hert and Hern who own the Half-Moon Mill.
