I climbed that hill, killed that troll and a dragon on the way. Learned their shouts and the way of the Voice.

I pickpocketed "Master" Bori....and found a Black Briar Mead Select in his robes...

I betcha the supplies I delivered were probably more booze and party skooma for a Hollywood like shin-dig up in der party tower...

They're probably laughing at us saying: "That fool believes in the way the voice? Hah! What a douche - no ones that gullible! Let that fool save the world while we PARTY!"

As we leave they probably hit the switch and the disco lights pop up and the Stormcloaks start dancing with the Thalmor - stripping their armor and all that...

Balgruuf was right! Them Greybeards will party til the end of the world they will...

All that noise you hear from High Hrothgar isn't them honing their Thu'um. It's rave music.

I didn't edit my sig this time, but I'm trying out the sig rotation thing.

I think it's safer to say that they're Trappist monks and make their own beer.

There's clear sexual tension between Ulfric and Elenwen. High Hrothgar is the only place they can explore their feelings for each other.

Actually, sexual tension left over from when Elenwen tortured Ulfric would've made for a fantastic addition to the story. Sadly it's far, far beyond what Bethesda's writing team is capable of.

It's kinda shocking you connect torturing someone to 'sexual tension'.

It's a well known psychological phenomenon. Similar to Stockholm Syndrome but not the same thing, despite the two often being confused. To the best of my knowledge it's not even a named syndrome, because of how it works. Off the top of my head the only time I can think of it being portrayed in popular fiction is 1984.
