...as ashtardevo said, a lot of the experience comes from disenchanting.

According to UESP...

Learning all available effects while having the Mage Stone and the Lover's Comfort bonus will increase your skill from 15 to 59.

Some of that... I dunno, a more powerful version of a fire enchantment seems to net you more xp than a weaker one, to me at least.

Then, some enchantments show up at later levels, like banish, so the span of 15-59 has some fluid to it for sure.

But definitely some good knowledge to add to the mix, thanks!

Thats bad info from UESP there. When disenchanting an item the experience gained is based on the value of the item you disenchant. So higher value items result in more experience when disenchanting. If you smith an item to an insane value via the fortify restoration exploit you can level from 15-100 in one disenchant.

Specifically you gain 1 exp per 400 gold value.

EDIT: Also fixed lol.

I think if you disenchant an item with a value of 181,254+ with Lover's Comfort and the Mage Stone it will level enchanting from 15-100.

Wow. That's world view changing stuff right there, thanks.

So many options, so many paths to take, I like this nerdy stat stuff, keeps the game in the disc tray longer!
