can someone clarify how to stack multiple of the same equips? specifically, amulets of talos to get 100% cooldown reduction? i have two amulets and its only showing 20% unless im somehow looking in the wrong place. also necromage doesnt boost ^every^ enchant you can equip. alot of the new ones from dlc and the amulet of talos doesnt seem to be boosted either...

Amulet of Talos shows as only being 20% but it is actually affected by Necromage. Even if you get 100% shout reduction using the Fortify Restoration exploit it still only shows as 20%.

Here is some additional info to use with the Resto Loop glitch.

For those that want to make a single item with 100% spellcasting cost reduction in one or two magic schools, you need the following:

-Enchanting skill at level 100
-All 5 Enchanter perks
-The Insightful Enchanter perk
-A Grand Soul Gem
-A Fortify Enchanting potion with a strength of 276% OR a strength of 221% if you are a vampire with the Necromage perk.

If you follow these steps your item's spellcasting cost reduction will be exactly 100%. Note that 276% is the minimum needed to get this number. If the potion is 275% then the cost reduction will only be 99%.

If your Enchanting skill isn't at level 100, you don't have all the perks or are using a weaker Soul Gem the strength of the potion will naturally need to be stronger.

okay cool thanks

i just got an idea. if you equip ALL your gear (using the follower thing) and have necromage equipped it will work with everything, right? so my idea is equip everything with the follower glitch (and necromage for best results) and then use a strong resto-potion and very quickly transform and revert. theoretically you could resto-loop basically your whole equippable inventory at once if this works although certain slots only seem able to have one thing there at a time (the main part of armors robes and other things that go in that slot and of course weapons and shields). cause when you transform and revert as a vl you will be re-equipped with everything (other than standing stones possibly, when i tried this with just necromage the steed stone didn't increase to 125 so whatever)

ima try it tomorrow if no one else does before then.

i just had time to test this and it worked perfectly! we can now resto-loop almost all our gear at once, making for even more massively op characters beyond the scope of the old method. only downside is most of the dlc enchants don't seem to be affected by either resto loop or necromage...
