Maybe because for people who aren't obsessed with maxing out everything so as that you can get max armor with anything, Daedric Armor is the best for Heavy Armor.

Or he personally thinks it looks really cool. Just because you don't like it and I pretty much agree, doesn't mean no-one does.

I used to be a fan of Daedric.

I have lost interest. I do love some Carved Nordic armor though or a full set of Ebony with the Ebony Mail.
