Light armor vs Heavy Armor for Warrior

I don't plan on doing any sneaking/pickpocketing/archery. Would you suggest Light Armor or Heavy Armor?

Yeah, find a cool looking armor and stick with that armor type.

Thread containing everything you could want to know about the topic. It's from the PS3 board... but this was just today.

Some clown was trying to advocate for the superiority of an inferior set up.

The walrus is right though... whichever you like the look of, or if you happen to have a specific gear set up in mind... that one. = D

I think I'll do light, for the wind walker perk. Seems more useful for a warrior....than the falling one....

Also, shields don't matter for raising armor skills right? Lets say I'm,, wearing all scaled, and I have a steel shield. It will only increase my light armor skill right? ANd do nothing to the heavy?

As they are not affected by the respective 5/5 skills, I'd have to assume so.

I'm not certain though, as I've never tested that myself. = /

The first perk investment ones.
The ones that boost overall armour effectiveness.
