At current update, no way to glitch Vamp + Were in vanilla game?

Yeah.... I kinda want to try the other side. I been a wolf for most of my game, but never really turned, because of having to re-equip, literally after 96 hours, I used it for the 2nd time, in the mission "Ill met by moonlight." as it was fun to be with another...

But a while before that I wanted to try vampirism. But hadnt gotten much use from lychantrophy. apparently there was a glitch with the uncrused ring of hircine that allowed you to keep the power, while cleansing your soul. it doesnt work, sounds like people have said it USED to work, but no definite answer.

I dont want to save mod. this is still my first play since launch, and i never mod gamesaves on my WRPGS until I have beat them legit once.

if not, worth it to lose lychantrophy for vampirism?

Become a hybrid and be both vampire and werewolf. You can only use one at a time but you get the option of being either or indefinately. Look it up in the search bar here or go on the uesp wiki and I posted the info there.

Latest patch, no DLC

If you've already completed the ritual in the Underforge during "The Silver Hand" then you missed the chance to become a hybrid.
