Most horribly boring part of the game, for those who do not fast travel... up and down, up and down, up and... just kill me now!

F that. I just get me a horse. Took me 5 characters to realize its 10x faster to go down the bitten part of the map trough helgen then to go all the way around. Plus if you have a horse you can get all the way to the throat of the world and jump the right way you can land on top of high hrothgar. Awesome view.

Come over here to Washington State, where gay marriage, marijuana, and assisted suicide is legal. If the second doesn't help you, and the first ain't your thing, then there's always the third.

I don't fast travel.

However, I never walk those BS steps either. Once a playthrough is enough for me. Call it a 'meditation' trance or whatever. I HATE that freakin hike. Wish there was another way. = /

Remember: IamI3rian told ya.
Skyrim's DLC exceeded my expectations.

Yup. A level one character can stand on the Throat of the World, collect the notched pickaxe, and access High Hrothgar as soon as you want. Walk right up the side of the mountain.

I'd move to Colorado first personally.

Eh, it's not that bad. Then again, I've only did the main quest like 3-4 times out of the 1000+ hours and 20+ characters I put into Skyrim.

My favorite part is sneak attacking the frost troll from a far enough distance that it never finds me, allowing me to avoid being murdered at low levels.
